Training for professionals "Family tailored to the child"
In the period 12-14.12.2023. In Kragujevac, a training for professionals "Family tailored to the child" - alternative care for children who do not live in their parents' family was implemented. It is about the Program for standard foster care, which is in the process of piloting, which, in the coming period, will be sent to the Accreditation Board for accreditation. The training was implemented by the Association of Centers for Family Accommodation and Adoption as part of the project "Improving the availability and quality of family accommodation" within the program "PRO - Local management for people and nature", which is jointly implemented by the United Nations agencies in Serbia - UNOPS, UNICEF, UNFPA and UNEP, in cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Serbia and with the financial support of the Government of Switzerland. This is the first of two such trainings that were planned during the implementation of the Project and includes professionals from centers for family accommodation and adoption and targeted centers for social work from Serbia.
