A work meeting was held with the Centers for Social Work
On 19.10.2023. in the premises of the Assembly of AP Vojvodina, a traditional, annual meeting was held with representatives of social work centers from the territory of South Bački, Sremski and Srednjobanatski districts. The meeting was opened by acting director Ivan Koprivica, and those present were greeted by the undersecretary Diana Milović, in front of the Provincial Secretariat for Social Policy, Demography and Gender Equality.
At the meeting, the results of the research on the number and availability of family care users were presented not only in the territory covered by our institution, but also presented the key challenges in organizing and providing the family care service, as well as the possibilities for overcoming them. Colleague Maja Dumnić from the Provincial Institute for Social Protection reminded through her presentation of the temporary nature of foster care and the concept of permanence. On this occasion, a new cycle of training for candidates from the territory of the Srem, Južnoba and Srednjobanat administrative districts was announced. The Center for Family Care and Adoption Novi Sad would like to thank all colleagues who responded to our call, thus indicating a common understanding of the importance of continuous gathering and constructive exchange about the state of the child protection system, current challenges and opportunities to overcome them.
