A forum was held on the topic "How empathetic are you towards foster care?"
On 12.10.2023., as part of the Mental Health Festival, the Center for Family Care and Adoption Novi Sad organized the forum "How empathetic are you towards foster care?".
A big THANK YOU to our great interlocutors: Samantha, Vesna and Dragana, who shared their personal experiences regarding foster care, pointing out the importance of the empathy of the entire community when it comes to the protection of children without adequate parenting experience.
Many thanks also to our dear colleague and friend of our Institution, Jelena Tanasijević, who facilitated the forum very well.
Apart from emphasizing the importance of the empathy of the whole community when it comes to caring for the most sensitive members of society, one of the conclusions of the forum is that there should be more events like this and similar ones because it is an opportunity to inform and sensitize the general public on the topic of foster care.
