Estera and Denis Cibula from Pivnice (Bačka Planaka), have been fostering since 2017. They are the parents of a boy. In addition to their parental role, within their family for the past 5 years they have been taking care of two children with multiple developmental disabilities. With their great commitment and dedication in their fostering role, with the exceptional skills they continuously improve, during the past period they pushed the limits of what children can do. The obstacles they encountered did not discourage them, they remained consistent with their goals and succeeded in doing so. Foster carers and parents are responsible, sensitive to the needs of children, with the capacity to provide them with a safe and stimulating environment. Consistent, patient and confident. In addition to the quality of care and commitment to the fostering role, what makes them an example of good practice is the fact that they understand fostering as a support to the biological family of the children they care for, with whom they cultivate close and supportive relationships. In addition to all the demands of the roles in which they are fulfilled, they have great enthusiasm and find space to engage in humanitarian work.
