Work meeting with Centers for Social Work
In anticipation of the International Family Day, which is celebrated on May 15, as well as Institution Day, the Center for Family Care and Adoption, Novi Sad, on 11 May 2022. organized a traditional annual meeting with directors and experts of centers for social work from the territory of the Central Banat, Srem and South Bačka administrative districts. The meeting was opened by the Undersecretary of the Provincial Secretariat for Social Policy, Demography and Gender Equality, Diana Milović, and the Director of the CPSU NS, Ivana Koprivica. Directors and experts from social work centers from the mentioned region had the opportunity to hear presentations in which statistical data were presented on the number of users and providers of family accommodation services in the region covered by CPSU NS, a new cycle of training for foster families in the region was announced for which the CPSU NS was founded, the further development of the "Open Door of Foster Care" program was presented and experiences were shared in the development and provision of temporary family accommodation, as well as emergency family accommodation. Also, experiences were exchanged in the past cooperation of the CPSU NS and centers for social work, as well as the challenges these institutions face in their daily work. The CPSU NS team would like to thank all participants and lecturers for an important and constructive meeting.
