‘SAFE STEPS TO FOSTERING’ TRAINING PROGRAM COMPLETED
During September and October 2020 Centre for Foster Care and Adoption Novi Sad completed a training program aimed at preparing candidates for fostering, fulfilling all recommended protective measures against Covid-19.
Three groups of potential foster caregivers had the opportunity to attend this program called ‘Safe Steps to Fostering’, which consists of 11 modules.
The first training was held in Stara Pazova and a total of 9 candidates from Stara Pazova and Sremska Mitrovica attended.
The training delivered in Novi Sad counted 10 candidates for fostering from Novi Sad, Temerin and Bački Petrovac.
The third group of candidates comprised 20 candidates from Novi Bečej, Žitište, Bečej, Srbobran, Vrbas and Zrenjanin. The training was delivered in Novi Bečej.
This has been a regular activity of Centre for Foster Care and Adoption Novi Sad since we started working with users in September 2015. In this way, Centre for Foster Care and Adoption Novi Sad encourages the strengthening of network of foster families in the regions of South Bačka, Srem and Middle Banat.
