Forum for foster families in Sremska Mitrovica and Žitište
After the forum held in CSW Temenin, two more forums were held as part of the project "Development of foster care in AP Vojvodina" supported by the Provincial Secretariat for Social Policy, Demography and Gender Equality and the Provincial Government, namely in CSW Sremska Mitrovica, on 22 October 2019, and in CSW Žitište, 24.10.2019.
The panels were led by Vesna Ilić, president of the Association of Foster Parents Novi Sad with Clubs, Aleksandra Stepanov, advisor for foster care from the Center for Family care and Adoption Novi Sad and Jovana Gvozdenović, associate of the Center for Familycare and Adoption Novi Sad, and the directors of CSW attended, professional workers and foster families. The presenters presented the Association's past achievements, plans and goals for the next period, trends in foster care, while the participants expressed their expectations from the Association and actively participated in an open discussion about the current position of foster families and their needs, which the Association could respond to. The Novi Sad foster carers' association with clubs and CPSU NS would like to thank the professional workers and directors of CSR Sremska Mitrovica and Žitište for their hospitality and cooperation.
