Round table "An explicit ban on corporal punishment of children in Serbia in all environments"
On Wednesday June 20, 2018 A round table was held on the theme "An explicit ban on corporal punishment of children in Serbia in all environments", where Vesna Anicic, Aleksandra Babic and Boris Lovric were present in front of the Center for Foster Care and Adoption of Novi Sad. The round table was organized by the Center for the Rights of the Child and the Provincial Protector of Citizens - Ombudsman.On the round table discussed the normative framework for banning corporal punishment of children in Serbia, the psychological and social consequences of corporal punishment per child, as well as the role and place of professionals in promoting positive, non-violent and participatory ways of educating and disciplining a child.
