"Safe step to foster care" training program started
The Center for Family Care and Adoption in Novi Sad started on May 21, 2018, with the program of preparation and training of candidates for foster care. The preparation and training program "A Safe Step to Fostering", which consists of eleven thematic units, is implemented for a group of candidates in the premises of the "Dr. Milorad Pavlović" Children's Village.
14 families from the territory of the municipalities of Novi Sad, Bačka Palanka, Bač, Temerin, Titel and Inđija are attending the training. This is a regular regional activity of the Center for Family Care and Adoption in Novi Sad since it started working directly with beneficiaries in September 2015. In this way, the Center for Family Care and Adoption Novi Sad encourages the development of a network of foster families on the territory of Južnobački, Sremski and Srednjobanatski administrative districts.
