Education "Novi Sad reads to children "
On wednesday, 25.02, 2018 , education was held for foster families about the importance of reading children from the early age within the "Novi Sad reads to children" campaign, which the Center for foster care and adoption Novi Sad has joined. During the course of education, in the premises of the CPSU NS, volunteers read to children who lives and growing up in foster families.
Novi Sad reads children's initiative, which, in front of the Novi Sad Children's Network, is launched by the Center for support to early development and family relations "Harmony". The initiative aims to raise awareness of the importance of reading the child and the child from the earliest days both for adopting words and communication skills, as well as for stimulating imagination and creativity, cognitive development and critical thinking, as well as for developing a sense of close affection with adults who give the child They also read rituals in relation to caregivers who create a sense of security, relaxation and protection in children.
Center for foster care and adoption Novi Sad thanks the organizers of the action "Novi Sad Reads to Children" on established cooperation, also on contribution to work with foster families and with children.
