Training Program "Safe Step To Foster" Completed
The Center for Foster care and Adoption Novi Sad started in October with a program for preparing and training candidates for foster care. The "Safe Step to Foster" training program, consisting of eleven thematic units, was implemented parallel for four groups of candidates.
Training for the first group of candidates was realized in Novi Bečej and counted 24 candidates. The training that was held in Zitiste counted 18 foster care candidates from Zitiste, Zrenjanin and Nova Crnja.
The third group consisted of 20 candidates from Novi Sad, Beocin, Zablja, Titel and Temerin, the training was realized in Novi Sad. Training for the fourth group was realized in Stara Pazova and counted 17 candidates from Stara Pazova, Sremska Mitrovica, Indjija, Sida and Pecinci.
This is the regular regional activity of the Center for Foster care and Adoption of Novi Sad since it began with direct work with users in September 2015.
In this way, the Center for Family Accommodation and Adoption of Novi Sad encourages the development of a network of foster families in the territory of the South Bačka, Srem and Central Banat districts.
