Regional meeting with representatives of Centers for social work
On Tuesday, October 3, 2017. A regional meeting was held with directors and experts of the Centers for social work from the territory of Central Banat, Srem and South Bačka administrative district. The meeting was organized by the Provincial Institute for Social Protection and the Center for Foster Care and Adoption in Novi Sad.
The participants were greeted by Palimir Tot, undersecretary of the Provincial Secretariat for Social Policy, Demography and Gender Equality, Tatiana Grnčarski, director of the Provincial Institute for Social Protection and Ivana Koprivica, Director of the Center for Foster Care and Adoption of Novi Sad.
The meeting presented statistical data on children in the system of social protection in AP Vojvodina, standards and experiences in provision of occasional family accommodation, a model of the program of preparation for providers of family accommodation for adults, statistical data on the number of users and provider of family accommodation services in the region covered by CPSUNS and the results of the survey on the satisfaction of the provider of family accommodation services.
Within the event, the participants had the opportunity to gain new knowledge, as well as to exchange experiences in their work in order to improve cooperation.
