Conference "Kindergarten as a secure base: improving cooperation between kindergartens and institutions of social protection in the field of fostering"
A symposium "Kindergarten as a secure base: improving cooperation between kindergartens and institutions of social protection in the field of foster care" was organized by the Center for Foster Care and Adoption Novi Sad, Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad and Center for support early childhood development and family relations "Harmony" with the support of German development cooperation conducted by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on 13th May, 201, towards International Day of family.
Conference was held in the hall of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and it was attended by experts in the field of preschool education, education and social protection of children in order to identify strengths, needs and possibilities of improving cooperation between preschool institutions and institutions of social protection in the field of fostering.
"Morning tea with Human-library" was the activity in the first part of the conference, realized by foster parents who shared their experiences about taking care of children who are in foster care.
Center for Foster Care and Adoption Novi Sad, Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad and Center to support early childhood development and family relations "Harmony", would like to thank everyone who contributed to work together to improve the care of foster children.
