PROGRAM OF PREPARATION AND TRAINING FOR FUTURE FOSTER CARERS IS FINISHED
During October Centre for Foster Care and Adoption Novi Sad started with program of preparation and training of candidates for foster carers. Program "Safe steps to foster" which is consisted of 11 workshops is implemented simultaneously in four groups of candidates.
Program preparation and training "Safe steps to foster" for four groups of potential foster parents started with the implementation in mid-October and trainig was ended at the end of November.In the first group were 25 candidates from Zitiste and Nova Crnja.The second group included 13 candidates Stara Pazova and Sremска Mitrovica. The third group involved 17 candidates from Sid. The fourth and last group included 19 participants from Vrbas.
This is a regular regional activity of Centre for Foster Care and Adoption Novi Sad since the beginning of it's work with service users in September 2015. During 2016, a program of preparation and training was realised for ten groups of candidates for foster care for the region that Center for Foster Care and Adoption Novi Sad is covering.
In this way Centre for Foster Care and Adoption Novi Sad develops network of foster families in South Bačka, Srem and Srednjobanatski District.
