Conference "foster care in the community" was held in Backa Palanka
On Friday, 11.04.2016. in Backa Palanka, was held a conference on "Support for foster care in the community". The aim of the conference was improving the service quality of foster care in Backa Palanka and improving lives of children who are in foster care.The conference was attended by professionals from the social welfare system, education, health, civic associations and others who are in daily contact with children from foster families, from Backa Palanka.All participants at the meeting were welcomed by Jadranka Novak, Assistant Secretary for Social Policy, Demography and Gender Equality in charge of social protection, Miroslava Solaja, Head of the Department of Social Services of the Municipality of Backa Palanka and Ivana Koprivica, director of the Center for Foster Care and Adoption Novi Sad. Conference participants were given the opportunity to learn about the activities and results of the work of the Center for Foster Care and Adoption Novi Sad, to learn more about the role of counselor for foster care and through the discussion consider ways of future cooperation with the institution and advisers. www.youtube.com/watch
