Second workshop for children and young people in foster care
On Thursday, 13.10.2016. in the hall of the Center for Social Work in Novi Sad, has been held the second workshop under the project “Advisory – therapeutic services for foster children by Center for Foster Care and Adoption Novi Sad” and it was supported by the City of Novi Sad. The workshop was attended by 11 young people. Workshop was designed for children who are 14 and 15 years old.
The second workshop was structured with the aim to get closer to concepts of self-respect and self-esteem through educational and workshop approach. The most important goal was to realize the needs of young people based on interactive work, that young people learn about the practical knowledge for acquiring social skills, new models of behavior and to learn how to overcome stressful situations.
Under the project “Advisory – therapeutic services for foster children by Center for Foster Care and Adoption Novi Sad” it is planned to hold two workshops which will be implemented during October and November 2016.
