Training course “Youth Club by the GRiG Model”
From 23rd until 26th of June, 2016 in the premises of Children’s Village in Sremska Kamenica a training course “Youth Club by the GRiG Model” with a test check has been held. Centre for social preventive activities GRiG was the organization standing behind this training.
During the four days of trainings a team of participants – psychologists, pedagogues, sociologists and lawyers working in Children’s Village and Centre for Foster Care and Adoption – had a chance to get familiarized with the basis of successful workshops, with differences between a workshop and a club, with means and tools for successful foundation and conduction of clubs that are aimed for youth at risk. Minor part of the training focused on the theory and the main part was the practice where the participants had the chance to conduct the workshops and to be professionally supervised and guided throughout.
At the end of a successfully held training the participants received a certificate proving that during the period of thirty hours they had gained necessary knowledge and skills for conducting basic workshops for youth in risk and their (self) help/ youth club by the GRiG model.
