In March 2016. an agreement on cooperation was signed between CFCANS and City of Novi Sad- Council for Social Protection, Children and Family Welfare. This has launched the implementation of the project "Support for foster care in the community", which is funded by City of Novi Sad - Council for Social Protection, Children and Family Welfare
The program is directed towards development of more comprehensive services of foster care in the city of Novi Sad. It contains three groups of activities. First group consists of activities focused on empowering children and youth who are placed in foster families. The second group consists of activities aimed at raising the competency of biological and foster families to provide quality care and support for children or adults. The third group consists of those activities that are aimed at strengthening the competencies of professionals in the CFCANS and professionals who are in direct contact with children in foster care.
